UTAS - OPEN DAYS

UTAS Hobart Open Day is on this Sunday from 10am-2pm!


This is a great opportunity to talk with academics and students about all their course ​offerings and to get a feel for uni life. At the Sandy Bay Campus, there will be food trucks, ​fun hands-on activities, and tours of their spaces.


UTAS have sent us the following about Campus locations to explore:


Our Sandy Bay campus will be the main info center for the day with loads of free parking ​available.

Future Innovators Engineering Expo

Students in the school of engineering at UTAS will be presenting their final year projects on ​October 23 from 12pm - 2pm.


Students in Yrs 11 -12 are invited to visit the school of engineering, talk with current ​students and more about careers in engineering.


This is a great way to learn about pathways in engineering!

Reconciliation Tasmania

UTAS Scholarship

Applications for a new UTAS scholarship sponsored by Reconciliation Tasmania are now ​open.


The Chris Crerar Reconciliation Scholarship is available to a Tasmanian Aboriginal student ​commencing a Bachelor's degree for the first time, in any discipline, at the University of ​Tasmania from Semester 1, 2025.


The $5000 a year scholarship ($25,000 over five years) aims to provide financial support for ​the duration of the undergraduate degree and to offer the successful applicant ​opportunities to connect with Reconciliation Tasmania.


Applications close on 31 October 2024.


Potential applicants are encouraged to visit the UTAS website to view the full scholarship ​details and apply online.

Pathways into Medicine & ​Dentistry Webinar

This forum is an excellent opportunity for students and their parents to find out about the UCAT, ​pathways into medicine, and have all questions answered by an expert teacher who has been ​working in the field since 1999.
