Victorian University Expo at UTAS

Just a reminder!


On June 4th, a range of different Victorian universities will be represented at an expo held at UTAS.


For any Year 12 students wanting to learn more about Victorian universities, we strongly recommend you attend this session.


The session will run from 9.30 am - 11.00 am

UTAS 2024 Medical Sciences Taster days

Utas are offering some Medical Sciences Taster Days.


The days are designed for students in Years 10-12 wanting to engage with experts in a range of medicine-related fields, meet with staff and explore the facilities.


On June 4, students will have an opportunity to engage with the following disciplines:

  • Medicine
  • Biomedicine
  • Paramedicine


On June 11, students will have an opportunity to engage with the following disciplines:

  • Pharmacy
  • Psychology
  • Nursing

Curtin University Casper Test

If you are considering applying to Curtin University (Medicine) this year, apart from the UCAT, you will also need to register and complete the Casper Test, conducted by Acuity Insights.


Please refer to the Acuity Insights website to register for the test.


Available Casper Test dates are:

  • 26 May 2024
  • 23 June 2024
  • 8 August 2024


All admission information for domestic and international students including details about the requirement to sit the Casper Test can be found via the Curtin University School of Medicine webpage.

Work Experience for Year 10

Just a friendly reminder, that all Year 10 students should be working on establishing their work experience placement for Term 3. Dates are Monday 5 August to Friday 9 August 2024.


When making contact with a prospective host and setting up a work experience placement, students will need to collect the following:


Supervisor’s name

Email of supervisor or contact person

Name of the Business

Address of the business

Phone contact of the supervisor

Days that you will be on Work Experience


When you have finalised your plan you will need to register your work experience via the Work Experience google form. If students wish to go to 2 different placements in this week they will need to complete two separate google forms.


Here is a link to the Work Experience Google form.


Google forms need to be completed no later than Monday 10 June, 2024.
